“New Metropolitan Attica SA” is Certified For Its Managerial Competence

“New Metropolitan Attica SA” was founded as an SA of special purpose, based on the stipulations of laws 4674/2020 and 4690/2020 and started operating in January 2021.

The Company cooperates with Local Government Organizations within and outside the Region of Attica and has as a more specific objective the provision of scientific, consultative and technical support to them, their divisions, legal entities and collaborative bodies, for the actualization of their targets and priorities by utilizing all the available funding and legal tools.

“New Metropolitan Attica SA” has already taken preparatory steps towards participating in the management of co-financed projects and in planning agreements for the provision of services to A and B Level Local Government Administrations, towards sustainable regional and local development, the promotion of entrepreneurship, innovation and extroversion and the improvement of everyday life and standard of living of the citizens.

Simultaneously, it has started preparing for the certification of its managerial competence, according to the international standards ISO 9001:2015, through the design, development and operation of the Quality Management System.

The Quality Management System will support “New Metropolitan Attica SA” with the development and certification of its competence in planning, designing, maturation, actualization and supervision of the co-financed projects.

The implementation of the Quality Management System and the certification based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard will allow “New Metropolitan Attica SA” to rise to the challenge of its mission and evolve into a substantial developmental tool for the Region of Attica, its Municipalities and Local Government in general.
