Technical Department
"New Metropolitan Attica SA", the Development Organization of the Region of Attica, in accordance with its statutory responsibilities, provides scientific, advisory, and technical support services to Local Government Authorities (Municipalities and Regions) across Greece—including both Attica and other regions—as well as to their affiliated bodies and associations, and to legal entities governed by public or private law within the broader public sector.
To this end, the Organization has established its Technical Department, which undertakes the following responsibilities:
- Project maturation
- Preparation of technical studies and other related documentation
- Validation and review of studies
- Drafting of tender documents
- Preparation of procurement and project files
- Supervision and monitoring of the implementation of technical projects
- Any other technical or advisory support services required by the relevant public authority, legal entity, or organization, in line with the applicable legal framework
