PROJECTS / PROGRAMMES

“New Metropolitan Attica S.A.” commenced operations in January 2021, with the objective of becoming the development arm of the Region of Attica and its Municipalities, as well as other A and B level LGAs and their associations.

The Organization has launched key planning studies for large-scale projects that serve regional development priorities such as sustainable growth, environmental upgrading, reduced energy footprint, improved quality of life and the promotion of Attica’s comparative advantages. These efforts aim to support the broader strategic goals and priorities of the Region.

In particular, actions have been initiated for the preparation and design of major development projects for the 2021–2027 programming period. At the same time, additional projects and programmes are being finalized in collaboration with local government and public administration bodies in Greece and abroad.

This section provides updates on the projects and programmes designed or implemented by “New Metropolitan Attica S.A.”.
