Operational Programme of the Region of Attica 2014–2020

The Regional Operational Programme “Attica” 2014–2020 served as the main strategic development instrument for the programming period 2014–2020, supported by resources from the European Structural and Investment Funds of the European Union.
The programme was a multi-fund initiative structured around four key pillars:

  • the Regional Smart Specialisation Strategy (RIS3)
  • Environment and Climate Change
  • Social Cohesion through the Regional Social Inclusion Strategy (PESKE)
  • Integrated Territorial Investments (ITI)

Through the programme, numerous projects and initiatives were implemented with the aim of strengthening competitiveness and innovation, developing human capital skills, promoting social cohesion, protecting the environment and supporting regional development.
