Programmatic Agreement For The Study Of Stormwater Drainage Works In Erythres

New Metropolitan Attica S.A. undertakes the implementation of the hydraulic study for the Municipality of Mandra–Idyllia

The Stormwater Drainage Works Study for the Municipal Unit of Erythres, Municipality of Mandra–Idyllia, involves the design of the required hydraulic works for stormwater drainage and flood protection of the settlement of Erythres. The study area includes the entire settlement within the boundaries formed by its existing perimeter road, the full extent of the zone covered by the approved urban plan, and the planned expansion zones, covering a total area of approximately 1,900 stremmata (190 hectares).

This project is a high priority for the settlement of Erythres. The scope of the Programmatic Agreement assigned to New Metropolitan Attica S.A. includes the preparation of the hydraulic study for the stormwater drainage and flood protection infrastructure of the Municipal Unit of Erythres, along with the necessary topographic work.

The study will identify the streams that traverse the area, descending from the surrounding hills and ultimately discharging into the Asopos River. For these watercourses, technical proposals will be submitted regarding the required flood protection and stream regulation works, aiming to safeguard the settlement and adjacent agricultural land.

The studies will be developed and approved by the Technical Services Directorate of the Local Government Development Organization New Metropolitan Attica S.A..
