The aim of the project is the upgrading and redesign of public spaces through redevelopment interventions across different urban planning zones.

Under the Programmatic Agreement signed between the Municipality of Maroussi and the Development Organization “New Metropolitan Attica S.A.”, a series of preparatory actions are planned for projects focused on improving road infrastructure, creating green pedestrian routes and enhancing public green spaces within the Municipality of Maroussi. The project entitled “Maturation of Redevelopment Projects in the Psaltidion, Agios Thomas, and Nea Filothei Areas of the Municipality of Maroussi” includes the design, drafting, and execution of the required maturity studies in the urban planning units of Psaltidion, Agios Thomas, and Nea Filothei.

In particular:

Project Α: Upgrading and unification of selected public spaces in the Psaltidion urban planning unit

Project Β: Unification of selected spaces in the Agios Thomas urban planning unit

Project C: Unification of selected spaces in the Nea Filothei area

Project D: Integrated redevelopment of the Nea Filothei area

The project encompasses the preparation of the following study categories:

• Topographic works
• Special architectural study
• Electromechanical study
• Preliminary assessment of required hydraulic works
• Landscaping study
• Health & Safety Plan and File (HSP–HSF) and tender documents

The total estimated timeframe for the completion of the studies, including approvals, is 15 months.
